Hello

I'm currently servicing an Early 2008 MacPro with the following specs

Model Name: Mac Pro

Model Identifier: MacPro3,1

Processor Name: Quad-Core Intel Xeon

Processor Speed: 3 GHz

Number Of Processors: 2

Total Number Of Cores: 8

L2 Cache (per processor): 12 MB

Memory: 16 GB

All fine with the hardware but when it come down to the OS I can't upgrade beyond 10.5.8 even if my model seems to be supported by Snow Leopard.

Tried the online version, retail disk, machine disks. No joy
The only error I get is: OS Snow Leopard can't be installed on this drive/system

Can I have any help, please?

Regards

No Joy.

But I booted again from disk and now is working fine. It's very odd.
