I'm guessing that Yosemite will launch this Thursday alongside the new Macs that are announced. If we look at previous patterns that's how it's been. Let's hope this happens!

Why would you hope that happens? If gm3 is final - you already have it. I think its the final version too, but it's still not perfect. I wouldn't release it this early.

Not a dev so don't have GMC3 and also I stopped using Yosemite after PB1 so I have some surprises to look forward to. Although, minor; still something to look forward to.

I just love statements like this!

So what's perfect and bug free?

Please name the imperfections which should hold its release up.

Early release? When would you like it released and name one release ever of any OS that was "perfect?"

Oh and I am a developer and have GM3. After struggling with high battery use, finding the issue, I like Yosemite and it works equal to if not better than the last Maverick version.

This is what happens when a technical person speaks to a layman. We know EVERY OS is released with 1000's if not 100,000's of known bugs that are slated to be fixed. It's a matter of what's good enough. If some people are waiting for an OS release with no bugs, then you will see no OS at all. Windows XP was still being patched for bugs before it went EOL, and that was released 2001.

May seem like a ridiculous question here but I have literally dozens of bookmarks will I lose those if I upgrade? And if I will how do I save them to keep from losing them.

I tried the last beta version of Yosemite and was really not impressed but I like some of the features this new O SX is offering so I am going for the upgrade can always switch back to Mavericks.

You will not lose your bookmarks if you do an upgrade.

Wait for it, wait for it......Nope, not a one. No Window OS's or OSx's nor iOS's have been problem free....NEVER. So as those above mentioned, we will be waiting until He**%* freezes over for that to happen. For me, I just download and hope for the best and wait for the updates to roll in..:D

I took the plunge and made the upgrade and have to say thus far I like what I am seeing. The only down side is I cannot use some of the features with my iPad 2 or iPhone 4s like Handoff was really wanting to use that feature and because of that glitch I give it 4 1/2 stars!;)
