Os X 10.2.7?

i've heard they are going to update jaguar for the G5. is this update going to be for the rest of us too, and are there going to be any other additions to it, does anyone know?

don't know if this is worth a new thread, but i was just curious if anyone knew something more than this about 10.2.7 or if i totally missed the boat about info on it.

you didn't really miss the boat because it hasn't really sailed off in terms of rumors.

The onyl facts surrounding it are that the g5's will ship with os.2.7 which also implies that panther will nto be ready by 9/2/03 or whenever the g5s shoudl arrive by. I haven't read any details on it and usually thinksecret has that type of stuff ( codenames at the very least) ..I would wait it out but truth be told 10.2.x has never really changed my system that much so i don't get too wrapped up in the .x upgrades

ha! what about java 1.4.1 and all? true, they don't add features, but they now and then speed things up some. i believe the first few (10.2.2, 10.2.3) helped a lot more than the more recent ones.

yeah but i remember one of them screwed up a bunch of batteries and one of them was the devil in someones signatures... i don't liek to get caught up in the drama ....its like the ipof software it occasionally kills the ipod but not usually and the people who have dead ipods speak the loudest...

heh, the last ipod update fixed a lot of huge problems on my iPod, definitely worth it. i don't mind taking my chances a bit with apple updates.
