Just wanted to be clear on this. Does either the Mac Mini or Macbook Air include Lion install media - USB memory or DVD media (yes, I know there is no optical drive) in the box? Or do they only give you the ability to reinstall via the Internet at this time (until the USB media is sold at retail)?

No install media. There is a recovery partition on your HDD that replaces the disk or USB stick.

The only way you will have to use the Internet in recovery is if you install a new blank drive with no OS on it.

The 2.3hz model has absolutely no media or install anything in the box.

Actually the recovery partition uses the Internet to download Lion to install. The partition only includes Disk Admin and a couple of utilities.
