Hi all

Am new to OS X so please forgive me if this is a silly question!

The way my iMessenger is setup from my iPhone is that my mobile number is my iMessage address, ive noticed recently (maybe since iOS6?) i can now set my iPhones number to receive messages on my iPad also which is great, but i cant find this option on my iMac, so is it possible for my iMac to get imessages sent to my mobile number or is it best i set all my devices to use my email address?

Thanks

Marc

iOS6 on my iPhone and iPad, and Mountain Lion (as far as i know?) on my iMac, my mac arrived last week so i assume it would have the latest one? Although it does show up as somthing i can purchase on the App Store which did confuse me!

Should the iMac i bought from apple just last week not already have mountain lion? Im not at the machine at the moment so cant look, although i did notice i could buy Mountain lion from the App store.

I have the Facebook / Twitter bits, i thought that was part of the update too?

10.8.2 is a small update to ML that provides some new functionality. There's no doubt you have ML but it might be a few weeks old. 10.8.2 is the latest.

Among the additions is better support for iOS 6 devices and services.

Btw the update is free.
