OS X Message tones

I noticed iCloud synced my texttones and ringtones on my contacts but the texttones don't seem to have changed for Messages. Is that a bug or does Messages not support custom texttones like iOS? Seems like a missed opportunity here. I'll file a bug report regardless.

No, it's just OS X that doesn't support custom ringtones.

Seems like it just isn't implemented yet. It's about time they brought custom notification tones to the Mac version of iMessage, though.
