Hey guys, I'm new to the forum. :)

I'm trying to get into the file system of my iphone. I have a iphone 3g with 2.2.1 firmware. I jailbroke it and installed Netatalk from Cydia.

Here's a couple different links
http://www.simonblog.com/2008/09/07...files-between-iphone-and-your-mac-wirelessly/
http://blog.brothersoft.com/2008/11/17/how-to-copy-files-tofrom-your-iphone/#more-11061

I SHOULD be able to see my iPhone in "finder" under "shared" but for some reason it's not detecting my phone.

itunes detects my phone fine, and so does everything else.

Has anyone ran into this issue yet?

Thanks in advance

Will that work with 2.2.1 firmware?

The link you provided is referring to firmware ver 1.1.4

Thanks,

Did you reboot after installing Netatalk?
