A quick question: if I update to the OS X public beta and use the new Notes app, will it still sync with my notes on OS X 10.10 & iOS 8?

ONLY if you don't choose to use the new features. it asks then when u first run it; i made the mistake of selecting the new features, and lost sync with my phone (ios8); altho, lol, it did get me to update my phone to the ios9 beta...
