Hi,

Please take a look at this link.
I can not use my WiFi coonection
or Airport, and I can not update
Adobe Flash among others. The
reason stated is because I can
not give my password. The pro-
blem is, I don't recall forgetting
it or having changed it. How
could I have a new password
now that I have Yosimite 10.10 ??:

Boot to Recovery and under Utilities there should be an option to reset your password.

Hi there!

That sounds like a pain. Don't worry, what you need to do is:

1. Restart your computer. Press R while the computer restarts.
2. When you reach the "OS X Utilities" screen, click Utilities on the menu bar. Click Terminal.
3. When the terminal window appears, type: resetpassword. Press enter.
4. You should see a window with your user account listed. Follow the instructions and change your password.
5. Exit all windows and restart.

I hope this helps! :)
