We're considering buying more iCloud storage for my wife, but ran into a question. As you can see in the attached screenshot, her library size is either 26.23 gigs... OR... 70 gigs. What gives? Photos says 26, but the actual size of the photo library according to finder is 70. So, do we need to get her 50 gigs of storage, or bump it up to 200?

go with the smaller number
set photos to "download originals to mac" until your satisfied the you have enough cloud

i also read that an iPhone will only send its pictures to iCloud once its plugged in, locked, and charged to 100 %

i had a problem i had a bunch of pictures with a ! on them. iCloud lost them. they weren't on my mac anymore. luckily i think i fixed it when i took another computer's photo library and added that one too iCloud

when it doubt , remember , iCloud , like any other subscription has a 15 day money back guarantee.

Thanks for the heads up. I'll be sure to back her up before I do anything.
