Hello everyone,

I have just done a horrible thing to my MacBook Pro and updated the new OS x Yosemite.

Number of programs seems to have an issue but the worst of all is the compatibility with the Wacom Bamboo pad. The accuracy is very bad, the pen is slow and does not react to most of commands, especially when using Photoshop 6.

I tried to re-install the pad and update the drivers from Wacom official website but none of that helped.

If anyone has a cure, please share it.

Thank you

Klara

OS x Yosemite and Wacom Bamboo Pad

Well if not solved yet. This is what I was sent and it worked....thank god

Thank you for contacting Wacom Customer Care. Since you are now running on Yosemite, please follow the steps below in doing a clean reinstallation of the driver:

Open your Applications folder and locate any Bamboo, Pen Tablet, or Wacom Utility folders you have
Use the Utility in each of these folders and click ‘Remove’ under ‘Tablet Software’
Once the software is removed, restart the computer
Once this is complete, download and install the latest 5.36 driver from:
http://cdn.wacom.com/u/productsupport/drivers/mac/consumer/pentablet_5.3.6-6.dmg

As always, make sure your tablet is connected directly to your computer. Avoid using USB hubs, keyboard/monitor ports, or docking stations with the tablets, as they can cause inconsistent behavior.
