Hi, i have a problem.
I installed Yosemite public beta 5, but when i am logged in with my standard administrator user my macbook pro restarts after a couple of minutes. When i am logged in with my guest account it works and there are no restarts. I have installed a SSD instead of my DVD drive and the HDD ist still in my macbook. The OS is installed at the SSD and the main User folder is located at the HDD. Do you have any ideas to solve the problem, because i need the data which is on the administrator account.

Thats the message i get when the restart is done. Now i'm logged in with my Admin account in "safe mode" and it works, too...

If the kernel panics are reproducible with Public Beta 6: be prepared to enter your admin password at the command line, then please run the following command in Terminal:

Code:
sudo nvram boot-args="-v keepsyms=y"

Then restart the Mac. For the subsequent panic, the report should contain information that will be easier for readers to interpret.

If you share the report here, please include the part of the report that lists the extensions.

Thanks. No third party KEXTs there and my gut feeling is that it's not a problem with Yosemite.

MacBookPro8,1 with Samsung SSD 840 EVO and Hitachi HTS545032B9A302 on SATA.

Are those two in a Fusion Drive-like configuration?

If not, then which of the two drives includes the Yosemite startup volume?

Does Disk Utility describe the HFS Plus file system of the Yosemite startup volume as apparently OK?

Without being hands on I guess that there's a data corruption, which will be not detectable with Disk Utility. The question might be, how corruption occurred … wonder whether there's a hardware issue.

So I used disk utility to check the SSD and HDD, the SSD was ok the HDD had some minor bugs which disk utility repaired, but there are still those kernel panics.
I installed the HDD instead of the DVD Drive and the SSD is in the HDD slot. Yosemite is installed on the SSD and the rest of data is stored on the HDD. Never head problems before but since i installed Yosemite public beta.
When there is a problem with the SSD why are there no panics when I'm in guest account or in safe mode?

… why are there no panics when I'm in guest account or in safe mode?

If the Mac is consistently more reliable in safe mode and consistently suffering kernel panics in normal mode, then there may be a problem involving third party software.

As there are no third party KEXTs in your panic report, I should not focus solely on third party software.

BootROM MBP81.0047.B27 is current for an MacBookPro8,1 running Mavericks – EFI and SMC firmware updates for Intel-based Macs – but I wonder whether pre-release firmware is applicable.

At this time I should say, wait until release time then use the full installer from the App Store. See whether a clean installation (erasure before installation) results in kernel panics. I suspect that it will be panic-free.
