My office issues blackberry out for employees and it allows us to tether to them. I do have a personal iPhone and everything is fine there, but I do have to do work and bandwidth is an issue at that point....so I need to use the companies bandwidth.

Since the second beta I can no longer tether. Bluetooth is NOT enabled on the BBerry due to over zealous security policies, so I can only tether by USB.

The settings work still as I can tether on a Mac at home that is still on Maverick.

I think it is the Mac it self, as I said tethering works as normal on a non upgraded Mac, AND the Mac I have Yosemite on no longer automatically recognizes the Blackberry. Desktop Manager does not open as it used to but once I manually open the app it will connect to the phone, as well as backup, but none of this is automatic.

I am using a late 2010 MBA.

Well it still works? If you really can't stand having to manually work it, just submit a bug report and continue using Mavericks.

No. It won't tether. You don't need the desktop manager to tether. but the manger still communciates for syncing data to and from the phone.

Excellant advice. Never thought of continuing to use Mavericks...

I get that. I was wondering out loud checking to see if it was me or if someone else out there may be experiancing the same thing. Otherwise there should not be a forum for Yosemite. Just answer everything with.

STOP. Go back to Mavericks.
