OS Yosemite receiving of delayed emails :(

Hello,

please could you help me with my problem with receiving of delayed emails? I installed OS Yosemite and from this time I receive email on my iPhone, but on my my MacBook Pro I receive it approx. 5 minutes after it.

Do you know where is problem and if is possible to fix it?

Assuming you're using Mail, go in to Preferences, and on the first page you can set the interval that Mail checks for messages, down to 'Every Minute' if you so desire.

If you are using an exchange based email service there is no true push notifications on OSX.
