Hi,

I have an iPhone 5c, i installed ios9 and true to form, my iPhone is now awful. The amount of time it locks up is silly. Sometimes i can't swipe between app pages, it's just completely unresponsive.

Anyway, i'm sure everyone is well aware of the problems, so i was looking for any tips and advice on how to optimise it?

Otherwise i'm going to need to wipe it and go back to os8. (There's not much difference anyway to be honest)

Also, side note - i really don't like the 'double press home button' to swipe between apps now, in this vertical flip through list it's a lot more awkward now.

You could look at tweaking a few settings.

Reduce Transparancy.
Reduce Motion.
Turn off Siri Suggestions.

If you can theirs the option of reverting back.

Apple is no longer signing iOS 8, your device is now stuck on iOS 9 unfortunately.

It should be illegal for Apple to lock you into a software version. Hopefully one day someone takes them to court and forces them to reverse this idiotic decision.

Agreed. Thanks, i'll try those, to be fair, i think being really low on storage space hasn't helped, i only have a 16gb model and i had about 300mb free. Eeeeek!
