Holy **** people,
here we are in the midst of Snow Leopard and it still has issues with 3d/ openGL.

The last graphics update did maybe a little but not fix the overall problem OSX still has in that regard.

Let's hope the 10.6.5 fix will finally do it? Or will we have to wait til OSX 11?

No wonder the Mac isn't competitive in 3D

The way Steve has been steering his 'Ship' I'd be surprised if professional level 3D is even on the captain's radar.
If we're going to see any improvements in 3D it'll be of the back of the much more profitable games industry. It's very sad to see the Mac go this way.

3D is reasonable, MAYA works well I don't really understand where you're coming from unless this is just trollbait?
