Hi!
I am so in over my head. Please be kind:)
I'm trying to put Windows on my son's iMac 20-inch, late 2009, has 2GB memory, plenty of space.
Tables state that my model is compatible with Windows 7, 32bit - only. But easier to find Windows 8 or newer so looking for other options.
He will be gaming.
Just updated to El Capitan.
Which Windows should (can) I install?

Thanks so Much!

Where does it say that only a 32-bit Windows 7 is supported? That seems nonsense to me. Your iMac isn't that old and it cannot be true that it doesn't support 64 bit. You should be able to run Windows 10 just fine as well.

Hi Kallt,
Follow the link below to see tables stating that it will not handle 64 bit. Couldn't agree with you more..it should handle 64 bit! I have read on several other sites that others have successfully installed the 64 bits. However, since I recently installed El Capitan was concerned that this might change things.

Thanks!
