OSX lags

I have the latest version of Yosemite installed and it lags very often. For example when I am switching between different apps/windows (from iTunes to Safari for example).

Does anyone else have this? It's quite annoying...

But I'm not sure if it's Yosemite, it may be my SSD as well. I have the Samsung 850 Pro.

if at least it was ONLY switching between apps ! I bought a brand new MB PRO 13 and so disappointed with yosemite compare to windows... UI lags in safari, in pdf preview and in finder, lazy wifi, gmail password always asked, system crashes etc.... waiting for next update, then next os to see, if no change, i will sell this p.o.s and buy a windows laptop.
Almost 1600 euro for this ?? Quelle blague !

Hi! everybody, I'm new on this forum.
I'm on Yosemite 10.10.4 with my iMac bought 1 year ago ( 21.5 - 16 Go RAM ) and I have the same problems.
Every days, the spinning wheel, black screen, mouse freezes etc... ( with or without WiFi )
I'm obliged to shut my computer by switching it with the button behind.
I never had such problems before on my others iMac ( with SL or ML it was the best ).
I'm waiting LE CAPITAN and if it isn't better I will see to go on an other system!
Also 1600 euros for this... quelle blague!!

For me I don't have any of these problems except lag between app windows and spinning wheel sometimes. It's really annoying. I think I will go back to Mavericks… but maybe I should wait for El Capitan. Apparently no one else has this issue however…
