Resolved OSX Leopard for iMac G4

I just bought an iMac G4 the other day and it has OSX 10.3 on it I would like to update it to Leopard anybody know where to get it at a reasonable price?

Leopard ran just find on my old 400mhz TiBook and IS running just fine on the PowerMac G4/450 AGP sitting right next to me. Both installed courtesy of target disk mode.

There are 15" and 17" G4 iMacs that are over 867Mhz and can run Leopard without any changes to bypass the Installer checks.

Leopard is expensive, but there are some DVDs on Amazon for about $65. Lots of eBay sellers take direct credit card payments (as well as other methods) if you do not want to use PayPal.

Long ago the way I have seen it done is install the OS on a faster machine, then target disk mode super duper to the slower.

All Leopard discs are universal binary discs. Even the machine specific restore discs.

Mac of all Trades sometimes has the disks in stock under "Peripherals" for around 60$ the last I checked. I may be wrong on what they sell for now....
