I'm encountering a problem with OSX Photos and disk space. I'm trying to use Photos on my laptop which has a 250gb primary drive, and a 1tb secondary drive. I've configured Photos to use my Photos library on my secondary drive. This works, but if I enable the Photo Stream functionality, OSX Photos starts to just demolish my primary drive's storage space until it's all gone - even with the "optimize storage" option selected, and not using this machine as the repository for the full resolution images. Doesn't matter if I have 12 gigs free or 3 gigs free - after awhile (and my fans spinning) all of that space is gone.

Has anyone encountered this type of issue, or have a suggestion on how to resolve? I'd like to be able to view my photos taken from my phone on my laptop, but this feature just seems unusable.
