Just recently in the past 2 days I have been having some strange problems with OSX. Suddenly and without warning at times the Finder disappears and goes to a blue screen. Twice it took me back to the logon screen and just recently it went back to just a blue screen and sat there with the ball spinning. Also, applications have started screwing up such as Safari where they will just quit out for no reason and others just won't start up. This has all just started happening recently. Has anyone else had these problems? Does anyone have any suggestions for how to fix these problems? Thanks.

My iBook has dropped back to the login screen twice. I've got no idea what caused it either time.

what version of OSX are you using? if you are running 10.2.8 then that is quite possibly the problem, as there are numerous reports and threads about 2.8. i had to re-install Jag to fix my problems...

Oh great. So far the worst tahts happened to me is my safari quitting once in a while. They better fix this fast cause i do not want to have to reinstall jag.

Yeah well I'm talking un OSX-like things happening, applications not responding, applications quitting for no reason, and problems which cause me to restart my comp. I am using 10.2.8 but these problems started a week after i installed it.
