Has anyone else noticed that running Yosemite and OS X Server 4 that IOS updates are not cached on the caching service. All App store updates work but not any IOS 8, 8.0.2, or 8.1 updates are cached.

This was apparently an iOS bug as one of the features in 8.1 is that it will allow future iOS updates to be cached.

This appears to be a different issue related to OS X server running on Yosemite. IOS devices running IOS version 6.* or 7.* are not able to update to 8.1 with the caching service. The issue you are referring to is IOS 8 - 8.0.2 devices not updating through the caching service.

Apple's notes are unclear but I have seen several reports that iOS 8 and 8.0.2 did not cache. I assume it's related and that subsequent iOS updates will cache properly.
