OTA update question

So, for some reason my 4s has downloaded the newest 5.0.1 update, it has not installed it yet. I did not select download, and i do not want to install it. On my brohters iphone he says it automatically installs. Is this true? I do not want to do this.

It does NOT automatically install it, your brother is wrong.

AFAIK, mine downloaded the update as well automatically. Now there is a notification on my settings icon. But I'm not upgrading to iOS 5.0.1 cause I'm waiting for a jailbreak first on my 4S.

How do you know it has downloaded the update? I too have a notification on my settings icon, but I thought that just meant an update was avaiable, not that it has downloaded anything.

All the screen-shots I can find say "Download and Install" on the button.

You're saying that yours changed to just "Install" on the button?
