Ok, so i have 2.26gb of other data on my phone. Now this IS a 64gb 5s with over 37.67gb of games on there. HAHA yea I get bored a lot at work during down time. I only ask because there is not gigabytes worth of "documents and data" for all these apps under "usage". I also do not want wasted space and a full restore would be a hassle and needs to be done before a new OS comes out. I know i have a lot of apps but it still seems too much to me. If this is not normal what can I possibly delete or use to fix this. I already did the basics and used the app store icleaner, does the cydia one do something different? and if so does it work on the 5s yet?

It's pretty normal for a jailbroken iPhone to have 2-3gb of other (it all depends on how much tweaks you have, and what your tweaks do)

Everything jailbreak related is grouped in "other"

the thing is tho, I did not apply tweaks yet. Having 37 gigs of games makes it a pain to restore and redownload everything. I also have no music on there yet. also it looks like its slowly growing. last night for example I went to sleep with 2.26 gigs of other. This moment I just synced it, now its at 2.31 after a sync.

I just downloaded icleaner pro from cydia and I see there is a applications option. What does that exactly clean when the application cleaning is selected?

that cleans application caches; as far as i'm aware, those don't get grouped up under other, they get grouped under applications

for example, all the pictures that get loaded from facebook, tumblr, instagram. thumbnails from dropbox. etc

those are the stuff that get cleaned

cool thanks, now Im at 1.8gb, back to what it was months ago. Was afraid it would grow to something high and a restore would not be an option due to apples communist tactics.
