I think I have problems with my video card.

I have a 20" alu imac 2,4ghz and I have kind of display "noise" problems, large horizontal lines of a couple of pixels that appear and dissapear when my GPU is stressed?

Do you think something is wrong with my video card? And what kind of video card is it anyway? On my mac it says ATI Radeon 2600 pro and on my windows its says ATI Radeon 2600 XT? So I installed the new drivers for 2600 XT on my windows side.

I have these problems in windows, when I'm trying to launch a game and even in os x when I'm watching a video. When I'm trying to play a game in windows, my screen freezes after a couple of minutes but my sound is still playing for 10secondes more and freezes to then, even in OS X it sometimes freezes when I'm doing nothing at all.

These problems occured only today, yesterday I was playing crysis perfect on medium settings.

I google'd for houres but didn't find any answers. Should this be a good reason to ask for a new one at the store? I only got this one for one week.

Greets.

Stick in your Leopard DVD and roll back to the old graphics drivers on there. See if it goes away. If not, it sounds faulty.

Having said that, I'm using the latest 2600XT drivers under Win XP (not the old ones on the Leopard DVD) and it's working fine.

The '2600 Pro' is an underclocked XT.
