Hello,
I have an issue about other storage which is rougly 25% of my total storage.
Last time I checked my Mac I had around 88GB of memory and I now have 74GB today. It was like 10 days aprox I didn't turn on the Mac. I seldomly use my computer and what I have it on are mostly text documents in word, ppt, .pages and screenshots. I use apps for writing and some utility apps for my Mac which is all pictured in screenshots to help you to figure it out where all that other which is almost one quarter, 1/4 of my storage come from.

I am working on my guide and a fictional thriller book and what I am currently putting on my Mac are made up stories typed in BooksAuthor app.

I use Android phone so iPhone to acces my files on Mac over iCloud takes photos rarely than seldomly and I make screenshots on iPad and that small amounts of data go over iCloud to my Mac but that is negliable.
I could use 16GB version of Mac if existed and to be satisfied with storage as my files I mentioned take minimal minimal storage.

I purchased CleanMyMac X just to get rid of it but it got rid only of some negliable GB, wasted money for that app.

System is not in english but icons tell what it is.
My storage management; after first 2 it mentions MB not GB and see the last one.

Help is appreciated and for the best answer I will write a text card size story as a gift for helping me.
Best regards and thank you for having time to read and reply.

P.S: It is not running Windows so we can eliminate virus to be the cause 🤣

Do you use time machine?
If so, have you tried purging the computer of "local backups" or "local snapshots"?
