It's taking up 5 Gigs. What can I do other than a restore? is there a app for windows I could download or anything. Please help. Thanks.

The first thing to do would be tell us what OS Version your on. Can you look in the settings and see if you have an os update that has already download and is waiting to install? Do you have your device jailbroken, do you have messages being saved indefinitely?
