I have been using the hacked app "Videorecorder3g". I believe it came from the cydia pack, but it may be from the installer, not sure.

For some reason I am having trouble email myself the videos. When i receive the email on my home computer it just says :

-by the way, does anyone know why that is? and why the video is not in my email?

These are not necessarily videos I want on youtube either.

Is there any other way to get these video onto my personal computer?

Can I upload them to youtube from the app and somehow grab that file off of youtube then pull it off of youtube? Or would I be able to grab them off the phone through an FTP app?

Thanks for any advice, it is much appreciated.

Use SSH/SCP. if you have a Mac, apps like Fugu will work fine. You'll need to install OpenSSH on your iPhone (I recommend taht you also download Bossprefs and untoggle SSH when you don't need to transfer anything) and you'll be able to connect to your iPhone and copy the files off of it. :)

You can also get an app which supports webdav. Just search the appstore for "webdav" or get Discover in Cydia. They allow you to browse the phone and transfer files like it's a folder on your computer.
