I'm thinking to buy the otterbox defender for my ipad air 2. I also use it for my Note 3, and its a beautiful case. Only thing is, after using it for 2 years, the rubbersides starts to come off - Dust gets inside, and under the screen. Is this also with the case for the air 2? Obviously, i don't use it as much, as my phone, in terms of moving, or at work - in my pockets. Is it a good case for the air 2? Also, it doesnt effect the signal? Also, i need it to be thicker, the ipad air 2 is tooo thin to use.

thanks!

I have one for my Air 2 and I only use it when I'm going out somewhere where I think more protection for the device is warranted. It is a very nice case but I find it too heavy for everyday use around the house. I have not noticed any problem with dust.
