out of state sim card... activation in ca...

Hello,

I have an att phone, with a maryland number. i live in california, but i want to keep my md number.

what is the process like for me to get an iphone in cali? do i just buy the phone, register it on itunes, put my sim card in, and walah!?

what about pricing plans?

i am from california but i was able to activate in las vegas with no problem, you should be fine
