Out Of Warranty Replacement For 2014 iMac Image Persistence

Has anyone gone through executive relations or anything and gotten an out of warranty replacement on their 5K iMac screen for image persistence?

My 2014 is terrible around the edges, and literally will have image persistence after 10 seconds. Just wondering what kind of option I have here, or what a repair costs

You'd do better to put the $$$ towards something new, or perhaps Apple-refurbished.

Shouldn't image retention be more of a reversible thing?
