Outlook 2011 sync issues with Yosemite

Since updating to Yosemite yesterday my server based exchange email account has stopped syncing in outlook and hangs on "updating local".

Anyone else having this issue? Is outlook just not completely compatible with Yosemite yet?

Microsoft Outlook 2011 Spam Filter

My outlook 2011 mail does not filter spam to my spam box anymore has anybody else had this and did you fix it? Cheers.
