I've fixed all my moms computer problems and setup. iPad setup, network printer setup, email problems resolved and a number of other things resolved. Its great having a world free of Mickey soft (10, 7), and Android. Everything here is Apple as it should be everywhere. Only thing I could not resolve was configuring Outlook 2011 with the email server as it refused to work. Apple Mail and Outlook (latest version) work just fine, its just the older version on the older iMac does not work. Anyone? For the moment I have her setup on Apple Mail on that older machine.

Does the email provider have any instructions on how to get it working with "less secure" applications?

Yes and I followed it to the letter. Works great with apple Mail and the latest version of Outlook on her newer computer. Its just Outlook 2011 which has the problem. Called their tech support but they did not know and suggested Outlook specific tech support.

What do they mean by that? Support for Office 2011 ended October 10, 2017. Maybe there's something current in their forums but it's likely to be user-to-user suggestions.

Well she agreed to use Apple Mail instead. I just wanted to see if someone knew of a way to get Outlook 2011 working again but I think not. Thanks for your attempt.
