Hello, new to the site hoping someone can assist me.

We have migrated our business emails to outlook exchange - all mails work on laptop / all calendars work on laptop
with previous mail clients when we install on to the phones all the emails, calendars, notes contacts etc would move across to the phones ipads etc.

We have been told by the experts that we have to install the emails on all the phones etc in order to see the calendars?

First issue why would I want my staff seeing my emails?

So problem 1
I can see my email and my calendar on my phone / I can see the email address we call (GROUP) calendar (it is just another email box so all staff can see events across the team) on my phone ( i do not have this email on my phone)

- I cannot see the MEDSUP email calendar on my phone (i need to)

I was told I need her email on my phone
- so again she would need to supply her email password to all the staff just so they can see her calendar?

I would need to supply my email password to all the staff just so they can see my calendar?

this theory is floored as I only have 1 email in exchange on my phone but can see 2 calendars on my phone (mine and the group)

I thought the idea of exchange is if we share the calendars to someone (through the WEB APP) then they should be able to see them?

Problem 2
Is will i have to go through this process for every phone and Ipad in my business?

(I used SPARK before - once setup on MAC laptop then installed program on phone and then everything uploaded settings and content)

the process i was told to use means we have to enter user email and passowrd on every device 12 or so phnes and 20 Ipads
- which again means everyone now has everyones password? defeats the purpose I think

I am sure there must be an easier way to setup, and to see shared calendars across the teams

I have deleted the apps several times, I have deleted the accounts several times - we spent nearly 14 hrs yesterday with no result

thanks
Mike

Please clarify these:

  1. Your email provider
  2. What application(s) you're using on the Macs to access email, calendars and contacts
  3. What application(s) you're using on the iOS devices to access email, calendars and contacts

Thanks Brian - email provider is Crazy Domains here is OZ - they setup and supplied the Exchange Server
OUTLOOK on all devices

thanks

Have you done any research on your own regarding shared Exchange calendars, iOS Outlook, and macOS Outlook?

Do shared calendars show up in the Exchange webmail portal?

If the Exchange server is set up properly merely sharing the calendar with another user should make it available in Outlook. I suppose the feature could be configured in such a way as to not work properly.

Hi Brian, yes we understand how it should work - it works perfect on the laptops but not on the Iphones I paid for a microsoft tech on the weekend and he couldnt fix it - my understanding is as it does on the laptop, all calenders should show on the phone - everyone keeps telling me I have to add the email ID as stated I am not comfortable with all staff having each others passwords just to see a calendar - will keep troubleshooting
