Hello folks.

I am a recent convert from windows to osx. I'm still learning the ropes and having a lot of fun.

On my PC I have been using outlook and I have a bunch of messages that I have archived. I am not sure how I can read these messages on my mac. I've tried copying the files from my pc to my mac. Just by dragging the emails to a folder and bringing it to my mac. All of the messages are in a .msg format. It doesn't appear that the mac will read these files.

Is there any software (freeware preferably) that will allow me to read these files on my mac?

Thanks for your help!

Not freeware but this should work

Do you still have the windows computer, if so is there anyway to use Outlook to export the emails into a different format, you may have more luck importing them on your mac.

Thanks for the link. I'll check that out.

I do still have the PC and outlook program. Do you know what format it would need to be to be read on my mac?

Sorry i dont really know what format is best.

Are you planning on using these messages with Mail, or some other application.

Try this is you are using Mail

File - Import Mailboxes, may actually import the .msg

...for the Mail part, you should try this...afterwards you should be able to import your mails to Apple Mail.app and then import all your Mail.app data to Entourge...

...hope this helps..
