I really do love my iphone. It is by no means perfect, but neither have have been my other pda and pda/phone combos. I'm ok with that. Unfortunately, while I felt palm lacked igenuity, I feel like Apple is doing some things on purpose and it is incredibly furstating.

Every since about 2 itunes upgrades ago, outlook does not sync properly with my phone. Mind you, it worked seamlessly when the phone first came out. When a new version of itunes came out, whatever worked was broken and the techs at Apple just shrugged their shoulders and said Outlook is a Microsft issue and they can't help me. But Microsft did nothing wrong. How do I know this? I reinstalled the original version of itunes (7.3 I think) and it worked seamlessly. Now I can get into the details of what is lacking on the calendar, but again, no system is perfect.

Again, I chose to update my phone to 1.1.1 hoping they have fixed the problem and now I am doing what so many others are and UPGRADING to 1.0.2. Why does this is have to be so difficult? Why can't Apple get it together?

I love my phone so much I am (was) considering buying a Macbook when leopard comes out. For all of the apple fans, please tell me Apple does not treat all of equipment like this. I do think I will like the Macbook more than my PC, but I just don't want simple tasks to become a hassle.

Sorry for the rant, but I as you can tell I am a little frustrated.

What do you mean when you say it doesn't work? You don't really explain the problem.

I'm using 1.1.1 and iTunes 7.4.1.2 with Outlook (not express) and it syncs my contacts just fine. I'm downloading 7.4.3 now, what should I be looking for that is "not working"?

I'm glad you don't have the same problem you do. Outlook stopped syncing entirely. If added or deleted events or contacts it would not show on my phone. It is a problem that occured after I installed itunes 7.4. I haven't seen others post about it on this board, but I have on the Apple support boards.

I am using Outlook 2003 and Microsft exchange.
