Just upgraded to Sonoma 23A5312d last night and after restart, Outlook launched and all my accounts (and all my offline POP messages) are gone. I dug into Group Containers etc to locate my original Main profile and the size of it (about 10GB) indidcates data is still there, but the profile has been blown out.

I've gone into Outlook contents to launch Outlook Profile Manager, and there are no options to rebuild profiles.

Anyone else experience this catastrophe?

Google-foo comes up with suggestions to simply re-add accounts but since these are POP accounts from decades past, I'm not sure it will have the intended affect that IMAP accounts would have in re-downloading all messages and folders: I want to regain access to my old downloaded messages and folders

Before I go that route, was trying to see about recovering what I have... but maybe good news: Outlook kept badgering me to add/create an account, so I finally obliged and added an existing account. A few minutes later, a dialog popped up asking if I wanted to do an import as it found over 3,000 items. After accepting, it's in the process of scanning for items to import and it's hit 20,000 and continuing. Not sure if these items are just from the account I just added, but this seems hopeful.

I will report back the outcome

The current version of Outlook is 16.75.2. Why not update and see if that helps with the beta OS compatibility?

Can anyone using Outlook 16.75.2 and latest Sonoma report their experience? Thanks.

Well, since I upgraded Sonoma before upgrading Outlook, which I believe blew out all my preferences and account settings (reset to factory/no accounts), and when I looked at the Main Profile folder, Outlooks touched a whole bunch of files and folders, I feel it was too late and upgrading Outlook after the preferences were all "zeroed" out would be pointless.

Anyways, good news! All my POP downloaded messages and custom folders were re-imported from the existing Main Profile of the account that I added to Outlook. SO, I need to add all my other POP accounts back and it should then find those downloaded messages and allow me to re-import them.

BAD NEWS: It seems my Rules were not imported and when I try to recreate them, Outlook says Rules are not available for this account.

UPDATE: Ah, NOW I know what happened. I've always had Outlook set to "Old" Outlook and never switched to the "New" Outlook. Upgrading Sonoma somehow caused Outlook to switch to "New" Outlook upon launching after upgrading, and presented me with a "blank" account setup. Going to "Help" and "Revert to Legacy Outlook" restored immediately regained access to all my old accounts and messages.

PROBLEM SOLVED.

But this gives me reason NOT to switch to New Outlook ever. As it no longer supports Rules for accounts. NO GO for me...

I have been having sporadic issues with emails failing to send and getting frozen in my inbox. I can't open or "resume editing" as the header button indicates. I can only delete. I have to create a new emails (same message and recipient). It usually goes through on the 2nd or 3rd attempt.
