Hey Apple Lovers:
I need some help. I know that this question has been asked probably 1000 times, but I still am confident that there is a solution. I am going to give as much information as I have in hopes that someone will have figured this out or have a similar situation.
My company does not support the iPhone for individuals lower than VP level. They only allow BlackBerry's for everyone else. We have a BlackBerry Exchange Server (2007 with Outlook Web Access Enabled). Both IMAP and POP are disabled. The company is fine with us using Apps to connect to the OWA for the iPhone, but cannot support it (corporate policy). I would like to use the native mail app connecting through the web client. I have heard of individuals doing this through the exchange account on the iPhone. I have not been able to do this correctly. I tried a BB and it will auto configure via the web client. I would think that the iPhone could do something similar.
My email is setup as the following:
https://mail.company.com/owa
User Name: Domain\First.LastName
Password: email password
There are some re-directs associated with the address too. We have many business units and some of them access their web client through:
https://webmail.company.com
Same log in information used.
Last comments. Our IT department is ok with us accessing outlook web access with any computer and mobile device. They just do not support the iPhone internally. Thanks for any help, as I love the mail client for the iPhone and am very tried of waiting for a high quality app for this option. Thanks!!
