Not worth it. Since you're asking and don't provide any helpful information about what you use your machine for, it's probably going to do more harm than good.
I used to overclock PC's back in the 1990's. I don't mess with any of that now as I feel the speeds and multiple cores are more than adequate to meet all my needs. I just don't see it as worth much value in productivity. I think the only reason for doing so now is just for bragging rights. Just my opinion.
