Hello, As mentioned on macrumors.com, there is software to Overclock Mac Pros. I was wondering if there is something similar for the iMacs?

I have the newest version 3.06Ghz iMac Aluminum Mid 2008.

Probably not.

Why do people even try to overclock their Macs? Is it not good the way it is?

They need the extra 1.2-3 fps in WoW.

Sort of a funny contradiction to all the my Mac runs hot threads... So lets make them run even hotter.

No

I wouldn't dare to overclock an iMac. You want it to melt? No real good way to get heat out.

Mac Pro, maybe, but never anything else.
