Well this might work but i don't think it supports the chipset in the iMac. Other than this there is no program i know of to overclock the CPU. There are ways but they involve hacking the firmware and you really don't want to do that. Plus no one has actually released what changes you have to make so you'd have to figure it out for yourself.

Having said that, I'm not sure the speed bump you'd get is really worth the effort. Overclocking from 1.5Ghz to 1.66Ghz (for example) isn't likely to give you a noticeable boost, and getting an iMac apart is, well, a b*tch. I think, however, that the Intel processor in the iMac is socketed and not soldered, and IMHO if you're really looking to enhance your clock speed you'd be better off spending the money for a core duo processor, which I think (that word again) can be dropped right into a core single socket with no firmware modification. They aren't that expensive and a price drop is expected soon, so you might think about that instead...

One of the great joys of the intel iMacs is their near-silence. Overclocking for a 5% speed bump and a 50% increase in noise IMO would not be worth it, and would void the warranty anyway.

They actually charged people for an "imminent version" about 2 months ago and the people are still waiting. They also deleted all the bad forum posts people posted about the lack of an actual version.
As for overclocking... they said they could do it (they were the people i mentioned earlier) but they never actually proved it nor added the ability into the available versions of speedit.
