I'm just wondering if overheating\throttling has been fixed on the new iMacs ?

Well, considering "overheating" only existed on these forums and nowhere else, I'm guessing it was.

Expectations, on the other hand, that's a different story.
 
Hey.
I just got my iMac late 2015 full specced.
I've been running different kind of programs without my computer throttling down at any movement.
 
My late 2015 5k iMac is running cool, its idling in the mid 30s and when I push it, I see it in the mid 40s. I've not yet experienced any situation where it needs to throttle.

From my reading, this is one of the benefits of the Skylake chipset, it will run cooler
