so i seem to be having a bit of an 'issue'. my processor upgrade was running a bit wonky, so i installed the owc mercuryextreme cache enabler, since it was the only software i could find for my processor. so far everything is running much, much more stable; however, i have lost use of all shortcuts and, in general, the use of my shift, option, tab, and comman keys [which is why this is all in lower case, though for some reason when saving as the shift key still works]. any help would be appreciated.

That's quite an unusual problem you have... I really can't think of anything that could help you. Maybe if you told me what this cache enabler does... If it's an extension it might help to boot into safe mode (hold shift while starting) anbd then back. Maybe even if it's not, since it looks like a keyboard problem.

Thanks anyway, I sorted it, there was a weird conflict with the enabler and the Kensington board I use. A quick trip to BBedit sorted it well enough...
