I ordered 4 Gigs from them yesterday (first time customer). So I'll let you know in about a week when I install them on my new 24"

I ordered from them because they were recommended here by a forum user and I also noticed their ad in a MacWorld mag. So I suppose they are in the community.

I am going to go ahead and order also. I have heard they work well throughout the forums and that they have good service. I just got the 2.4, 24". I didnt think the 2.8 was worth the money "for myself". Good luck and I will post back when mine is installed. Also where does the Imac usually ship from??

Is there any reason to jump from 1GB to 4?

Cant you just get one 2GB block and be happy to have 3GB in your iMac? Or have I missed something?

In that way, you wouldn't be stuck with a 1GB block, nor would the upgrade be as expensive... You will always be able to replace the 1GB block eventually...

1. to match up the RAM
2. more power

:)

A performance issue isit? In that case go for the 4GB Crucial or OWC matched. I doubt that you will feel the power surge from the matched pairs, as much as from the warm extra GB though :p

(When did Mac people start to care about performance anyway???)
-Sorry, my bad... I take it back!
