Just wanted to see if anyone else has this problem. I searched the forums and saw similar issues but not exactly like I am having. I am on my 3rd iPhone 3G (had to return first 2 for other hardware issues) so I am familiar with how the phone works in different situations at and around my house. As soon as I got this new one, I noticed immediately that 50% of the time when I make or receive a call, I can hear my own voice echoing in the speaker and its usually a good second or two delay. When it happens, it is practically impossible to have a conversation because it is so loud. I've tried switching it to speaker phone to make it go away and holding the phone a different distances from my mouth but I still hear the echo. I use to only be on Edge at my house and just blamed it on the network but then we just got 3G and the problem is exactly the same. My wife has an iPhone as well as one of my friends and they both say that it happens to them too but way less often than it happens to me. Does this sound like another hardware issue?
