After cleanly installing the 10.15.1 upgrade the other day I found I can no longer install new software packages. That is, anything that uses package installer, any files with .pkg extension, just hang with rainbow twirly. Where might I find a fix for this or more information? googling the the title of this post returns results about problems installing Catalina, but not the pkg installer.
