I downloaded pageonce and was SOOO super excited about this app. I mean, ALL of my accounts in ONE PLACE! Awesome!

I have to say i am a LITTLE disappointed. They have a web version which you sign up on to add your accoutns, and the app just lets you view that through your iphone, but it is laid out very nicely and fits that iphone screen VERY well.. My gripe is with the way it shows the accounts.

First off, it has a BLACK background with white text which means it look cheesey and is hard to read

then, there is no setting to make the FEEDS page show up first. FEEDS is what you REALLY want to see becuase it shows you all of the most recent changes to ANY of your accounts.

and finally, my BIGGEST PET PEEVE with this app is that when you get to the feeds, and you see a change or something new, you CANT CLICK IT~

I looks like you can click it, because if you tap it, it turns dark, but it doesnt do ANYTHING.

This is REALLY silly because it has the support for things like photobucket, but all you can see is LINKS to your albums that dont work! Same with myspace. It shows you that you have 3 new messages and 1 new comment, but you cant GET to them!!

I dont get it, you can do it through the web site, and other apps HAVE done this, so why not pageonce?

On top of ALL of this, i sent in a few support emails AND posted on their forum and NO ANSWERS. its really annoying.

they just did an update too and all it did was FINALLY add a password to enter it (which SHOULD have come initially_)

not as secure, doesn't support canada. and... the customer service = worse than top-notch isp carriers.

I have to say I was disappointed too. This app certainly has LOTS of potential, and the reviews are pretty good. But I think the GUI is kind of awful. Really ugly, in my opinion -- and clunky. And I too hate how you can't customize it and move things around to a more logical placement that suits your needs. I also can't get several of the online accounts to work for some reason.

The ONLY thing I use it for now is a quick check of my bank balance, since my bank (Citibank) doesn't have an app of it's own, and I hate going through its site on Safari. But other than that, it's pretty useless for most other sites, since you can't really do anything.

I'd LOVE for it to be better, but don't know if we're going to get that much improvement out of a free app.

thats basically what i was using it for too.. the thing is, i would PAY if they made it do any of those things i listed above.. right now, there are not any all in one type of apps.

I just dont get it. their online interface is not too bad. a little hard to look at but not TOO bad.

I am frustrated too, that NO ONE respondes when you send a support email. I got a response within 2 minutes from the guy who created flipbook!

That's because Flipbook is AWESOME! :D

Yes, I would also pay (as I suspect others would too -- any developes listening?) for an all-in-one app that could check ALL your online accounts and actually give you the ability to do more than just sorta-kinda-maybe view them. That may not be possible with all of these different accounts to access -- but if it IS, there's a developer's goldmine sitting right here...

i am a BIG flipbook fan too, just purchased a stylus to do better drawings.

anyways, call me nieve, but i dont see WHY they couldn't offer a link to each page. I mean, more infomation on the actual apps page, like the ups account actually showing the tracking and not just showing "status: ontime" would be great!! however, at this point, i would really just take a direct link from the app to teh actual website where i can input my username and password. Who really wants too look at an app and see a change in the ups tracking, then back out of the app, open the browser, plug in the url, log in, and THEN check it??

Why cant you just click it? Thousands of other apps (almost ALL) have some kind of weblink in them somewhere, and since the user is the one who actually puts in the web link when you create or add the account, WHY NOT? It really is entirely annoying to use! and yea, now i JUST use it for a quick balance view.. not nearly as awesome as iw ould have thought..

And again, their CS is nill.

I recently e-mailed their support on the issue with youtube accounts that use google account log-ins, where the username is not the log-in. but your gmail.com address. Thus, all links to profile or log-in don't work since it attempts to use the e-mail address as the username.

I too am disappointing nothing seems to link out from the app to the web. I understand no auto log-in with passwords, but innocent things with say youtube account don't work. They show the profile and status links as they do on the website for youtube, but when you tap them, which blinks as if a link on the iPhone, nothing happens. This makes youtube in the app pointless, as it doesn't show messages or nothing, a bookmark in Safari would be better.

Though, it's a nice update they did with security and full setup over the phone. Here's to hoping I get a response quickly on the youtube issue.

GOOD LUCK!! i emailed about 2 weeks ago and STILL nothing.. then i posted on their forum and STILL nothing. you would think that if developers were going to make a forum, theyw ould check it once and a while. Theres like 25 posts total on there.. NO NEED NOT TO ANSWER~!

I tried the photobucket thing and it was the SAME THING. i thought GREAT< i can just click PAGEONCE, then PHOTOBUCKET, and then the album i wanted to show.. Nope.. all it does is show the names of the albums.. how USELESS IS THAT???

I was HOPING to be able to store some images on photobuck so i can save space on my phone.. you're right, you are better off bookmarking the website in your browser.

Same as all of the above posters...guess I will just stay with 1Password for now...at least it takes you to the URL and fills in the loggin blanks if it does not open it for you.

What a cheesy app...they need to wake up like some of these devs that care and even come on these forums to post and update us.

Too bad you don't have a Mac man....1Password is so much more useful/powerful when synchronized with the desktop companion program.

LOL...Bear, I've been hearing that one on these threads for almost a year now. :D However, I stand by my OS just as much as you Mac guys, which I respect you for. They both have their ups and downs and each user has their preference and needs.

I love being one of the almost windows regulars here so that I can assist those individuals...they need lovin too! ;) I am also a heavy gamer and do not want to bog down a mac with peripherals and all that extra stuff to play my games. I also Beta for Americas Army and it requires windows as well.

I will never criticize or cut down a Mac user as my post history reveals. I LOVE everyone irregardless of platform...except the TROLLs
...and we all have iPhones and like my windows machine, mine is a CLASSIC...I guess im just an old Fuddy Duddy! LOL

Gary

P.S. as far as 1Password...you are right, I dread the day I loose my data and have to start over...I am still looking for the right App that will log me into all of my internet access accounts and store my passwords because Pageonce is a dud and so now I look for a new one

For PC users that want a password app, Memengo Wallet is still free, EDIT, scratch that, it's $1 right now. Still on sale, and may be worth checking out if it does well for website log-in.

http://phobos.apple.com/WebObjects/MZStore.woa/wa/viewSoftware?id=284950097&mt=8

It has no desktop software, but can sync with an online database for backup (view and edit online too), if you choose to do so.

It was originally free with a planned $9.99 price, but it seems they changed the price to $2 and on sale for $1 now.

well, i wouldnt use memengo simply because i am not really comfortable with storing data on someone else's internet database.. if i were tyo do that, i would want FULL controll of the permissions and what not. I never trust any data on the net.. not to say the devs. are not trustworth people. They have posted here before and seem like good people.. just my personal preference.

I use ewallet for my password app, and i LOVE it. The best UI that i have seen. it wasnt free, but it WAS worth it. (in my eyes) but then again, there is an ENTIRE thread of me arguing with someone why 1password was nt a good choice for myself...

I would be SUPER happy if pageonce just worked like their website did. Maybe i'll just bookmark their website's page for now.. atleast there i can link to other websites that i have accounts with.

The thing is, i NEVER use my desktop unless i am working, and my personal stuff gets lost in the shuffle.. so thats why i LOVE having all my personal accounts in info on my phone.. its just easy. I was SUPER psyched when i got pageonce and started adding accounts online.. then i used it on the phone and wah wah WAaaaahhhhHHH - it sucked. its a sad thing.

Well the ONE thing I was using Pageonce for -- checking my bank balance -- is not even worth it now. I just checked what it was on Pageonce, and then on my bank's ACTUAL site, and it was off. First, Pageonce combined my "available now" and "pending" totals, which is dangerous -- since what I REALLY need to know is what's "available now" only. Also, even after combining the two totals, it was still off -- just by $5, but even so...what happens if it's off by way more than that some other time?

This app is totally unreliable AND useless. I just wish I hadn't inputed any info into it, because now I'm worried that after deleting everything, it's still going to be "out there" somewhere... :(

AYE AYE AYE!! i dont like to hear that!! That is definitely a tad scarey.. I also rely on that for my bank balance.. now i REALLY need tocheck it.

I wish my bank offerened a webapp version of their site like Bank of America does.. but oh well, i'm not going to swtich to them because of my iphone. I HATE b of a.

Anyways. i might just pull all my info off there too.. i wonder if the developers are even READING their incommiing mail.. 3 emails to them, 0 responses.
