Lets talk about pageonce.

Its clever and technically secure... but scary to give all of your info/passwords out and have them stored in a single place.

Plus mine isn't doing a great job loading anything... (i only have gmail/ebay/att on it) and only gmail started to work.

What do others think of it? Is it working for you? How much have you put on it?

why would anyone trust them with any login info for financial sites? you must be asking for identity theft. when it comes to my financial stuff, i would rather be inconvenienced by extra time to log into individual financial sites then EVER entrust an entity other than the original financial institution with login info. It amazes me how people are so lax when it comes to this type of info and we all wonder why identify theft is so rampant

I downloaded the app from the AppStore and then ran for the hills once I saw their web site. I agree, people are way too lax with their personal information. Eventhough I was a victim of identity theft, I don't think I'm too paranoid about this.

uh. these arent the responses i'd want to hear. In theory I think the app is awesome... But I guess I agree with you.. its hard to trust somebody with all that info.

I agree. No one place should have all your important information. What if they get hacked? A disgruntled or dihonest employee? Not worth the risk AFAIC.

Do yourself a HUGE favor and forget applications such as this. Better to err on the side of caution and control the distribution of CRITICAL data such as financial login info to only two entities, yourself and the institution that you are doing business with. Any others beyond that and you're asking for trouble in the future.

I tried it out, seems to be okay. I might just opt out since bank account transactions never show pending stuff. But I may leave things like Gamefly, BlockBuster, and bills on there.

For some reason I didn't hesitate, I just figure that there a lot of other services like this out there, and if it wasn't protected, they wouldn't be around. But there's always that fear. I guess I wish there was a good offline app for PC desktop for this kind of thing. I don't think 1Password is for PC.

The service works well enough on the website. Sometimes refreshing the data on the iPhone takes a while. I like the feed section, showing changes to all accounts in a list. Or how I can check how many minutes and other usage with my ATT account.

They seem to respond quickly for adding in sites they don't have. Like they didn't have GameFly, so I requested it, and only a week later they e-mail me that they now have it in their system so I can instantly check what has shipped and what's in my queue with availability.

On the website, clicking shopping will show all those accounts at once, ebay, blockbuster, gamefly, etc. Utilities page shows Comcast, PG&E, ATT phone/dsl and ATT Cell. A few have bill pay options, like PG&E, which they will have more available to other accounts in the future.

On the iPhone, it's mostly read only, no auto log-in to other sites, etc.

If you signed up and now having second thoughs, you can e-mail the support to delete the entire account.

2.0 has just been released.

A destruct feature that deletes all account information upon activation on a stolen iTouch or iPhone.

Can register your device by serial, so that device alone can only access the account.

You can now register, add accounts, and fully manage pageonce account from the device.
