Hi everyone,

My Pages (v 7.3) templates show three little black dots (like the dot on the i). One is centered right in the middle of the header, the two others are left and right below the footer. The dots are visible on screen, in the printout, and also ifI export a pdf. How can I get rid of those?

I could make new templates, but try to avoid the hassle.

I attached a screengrab to illustrate the issue.

thanks,

geb

Does it still happen for the default templates? If yes, then it is a Pages problem.

Otherwise its included with your template and you need to open the original template and edit out the dots. Can you select the dots? The middle dot seems like it is in the header.

That's not a Pages problem. You'll need to edit your templates to remove the dots. Then save them with same name and they will be overwritten without the dots.

Select your footnote -> In Menu select View -> Inspector -> Format
Header and Footer Style -> Bullets & Lists -> change Text Bullets to -> No Bullets
It seems to be a Dot that is aligned with a negative value of about 20 pt.
