Pages and Numbers are the only good experience I've had so far with iCloud.
I've been testing it with just one of my Macs, my 2012 MBA, to monitor the progress that Apple is making. Far from ready for prime time in my opinion, that's not a criticism, just sharing my experience.
I prefer to take a positive, yet patient approach, since in my case iCloud in no way performs up to the way it was presented to us. Overly zealous, in typical Apple fashion, at some point I'd like to see the functionality catch up to the hype. In a perfect world I would like to use it for most things I use a cloud for.
In the mean time for my mainstream MBP's that I use for work and personal, I'm using other more flexible and reliable cloud solutions.
I look forward to the day that iCloud lives up to it's billing, since as a serious Apple enthusiast, it would be nice to be able to speak highly of iCloud.
